📊 The GRACE Score is a validated tool used to assess the risk of in-hospital and 6-month mortality in patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS). It guides decisions on whether patients need early invasive management 🚑 or can be managed more conservatively.
🧾 Parameters Used in the GRACE Score
- 👴 Age: Older = higher risk.
- 💓 Heart Rate: Tachycardia raises score.
- 🩸 Systolic BP: Hypotension increases risk.
- 🧪 Serum Creatinine: Renal dysfunction = worse outcome.
- 🫀 Killip Class:
- Class I: No HF signs ✅ lowest risk
- Class II: Rales / S3 → ↑ risk
